A groom and his groomsmen in matching formal wear

Weddings

The men’s side of your wedding.

Dress the groom and the whole party from one shop, fitted in person through Jim’s Formal Wear, with out-of-town members coordinated and everything altered to fit before the day.

The whole party, one shop

A wedding has a lot of moving parts. The men’s side does not have to be one of them. We dress the groom, the groomsmen, and the fathers from one place, a few minutes from Effingham.

For the whole party

Groom, groomsmen, and fathers, all coordinated.

You pick the look once and we carry it across everyone, so the party reads as one. Out-of-town members can often be measured at a participating Jim’s shop near them and added to your order, which means the friend two states away matches the groom standing next to you.

  • One look chosen for the groom and carried across the party
  • Out-of-town members measured nearby and added to your order
  • Every member tried on and altered here before the day
  • One shop keeping all of it on track, near Effingham

How the wedding comes together.

Four moments from the date to the day. Bring us your timeline and we set the pace from there.

01

As soon as you have a date

Come in and talk it through. We settle on a look for the groom and the party and start the order through Jim’s Formal Wear.

02

A few weeks out

We get the party measured, including out-of-town members at a shop near them, so everyone is on the same order and the same look.

03

The week of

Everything comes in and each member tries it on here. We handle any last adjustment locally so it fits the way it should.

04

After the day

Wear it, then bring it back to us. No shipping window to plan around and nothing to chase down on your honeymoon.

From local wedding parties

A couple of words from couples we’ve dressed, on Google.

Weber’s did an outstanding job with our wedding tuxedos. The groom and groomsmen looked sharp, and everything fit perfectly. Great service and excellent quality. Highly recommend.

All the places close by couldn’t measure my 12 year old. I called here and they got us in at no extra charge and had his measurements just in time. The employees are great and so friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Wedding party questions

A few of the things couples ask before they come in. Call us with your date for anything specific to your day.

Can groomsmen who live out of town still be in the party?

Yes, and this is one of the best reasons to rent here. Because we are an official Jim’s Formal Wear store, members who cannot get to Teutopolis can often be measured at a participating shop near them and added to your order, so the whole party matches even when everyone is spread out.

How early should we start the wedding party?

As soon as you have a date, especially for a spring or early-summer wedding when formal wear gets busy. Coming in early leaves room to settle on a look, get everyone measured, and fit each piece before the day. Call us with your date and we will tell you the right window.

What does a wedding rental include?

A complete look built with you at your fitting. The exact pieces depend on the style you choose for the groom and the party, and we walk through all of it in person so nothing is left to a guess.

What if someone’s size changes before the day?

It happens, and it is the reason to be fitted in person. Everyone tries their look on here before the wedding, and we handle any adjustment locally before it goes out the door. Tell us as soon as you know and we will sort it out in time.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the styles and pieces each member chooses. We confirm it with you at the fitting, before anything is ordered, so the whole party knows what to expect with no surprises.
