Since 1892
Same family, same Main Street, since 1892.
Our story
In 1892, Henry J. Weber opened a men’s clothier on Main Street in Teutopolis. More than 130 years later, the same family is still here, on the same street.
It began in 1892 as the H.J. Weber Company, a men’s clothing store Henry J. Weber opened on Main Street in Teutopolis. He sold suits, hats, and shoes to the men of the town and the farms around it. In the early days, when a customer was short on cash, he might settle up in goods, sometimes a hog. The work was plain: dress a man, and fit him properly. That has not changed.
The store passed down through the family, generation after generation, the name over the door staying Weber the whole way. Tony Weber took it over in 2004 and runs it today with Brad Weber, more than 130 years on, still family-run, still on Main Street in Teutopolis.
A place lasts that long for one reason. The fit was right, the people were treated well, and they came back, then sent their sons and their grandsons in too.
One family. One street.
No grand story to dress up. Founded in 1892, handed down through the Weber family ever since, and still on Main Street in Teutopolis.

Why people come back
Fitted in person, by people who know you.
You are measured by hand and fitted in the room, not against a size chart on a screen. We will tell you what hangs right on you and what does not, and we will say so plainly, because that is the part a website cannot do.
Most of the men who walk in have been here before, or their fathers were. We learn how you like things to sit, and the next time is easier for it. That is the whole reason the door is still open after this long.

The work behind it
Altered locally, finished with care.
Hems, sleeves, waists, and shoulders are handled locally, close by, before you take anything home. Nothing leaves looking close enough. It leaves looking right, on you, ready for the day you bought it for.
It is unhurried, careful work, done with the same care it always has been. That care is the difference between clothes that fit and clothes that merely fit your size.
What stays the same.
Styles change and the rack turns over. The way we treat the work, and you, does not.
- Fitted in person, by hand
